Tips on how to take good pictures in caves

Caving is A very exciting and most people like to take this view on the inside of caves. However, the photograph inside a very dark hole is extremely difficult, even the most experienced photographer. For Photography, the grotto of such exploration is regarded as a skill that very advanced few people have mastered.

You need light to take pictures, and there is not much light inside the caves. If you have not yet been in a cave, you'd be surprised how dark it can get. However, photography in caves is not completely not as many have already managed to take pictures of this amazing world. With the knowledge and equipment that you can take pictures caves.

Here are some tips on photography inside the caves:

1. Use the movie settings very fast or ISO – as it is very difficult to use safely inside the caves tripods, you have to use very fast film or exposure parameters of your Camera. Most photographers cave use ISO 1000 or ISO 1600 by taking pictures inside the caves to obtain clear images even without a tripod.

2. Instead of using a tripod, you can use a bean bag to hold your camera photo. There are cushions that can be screwed into your camera tripod. You can easily install your unit on a surface without damaging the casing.

3. The flash is useless if you take pictures of stalactites and stalagmites few inches from you. You will not be able to grasp the depths of caves with a flash normal. What you can do is to set up your Camera Shutter open and flash your light on several occasions to capture as much light. You do not have to hold the camera very quiet with this technique.

4. If time permits, take pictures at shutter speeds very slow and only allow the camera to get exposure for long periods.

5. Do not sacrifice safety for potential photographs. What are the pictures so you will not be able to leave the cave to see. Prioritize you and your Photographic equipment when not inside the cave. Do not sacrifice space in your backpack for Camera Equipment, you need more space for your kit caving.

Photography while exploring caves is indeed very difficult and therefore it needs so much practice. It is therefore preferable not to try at your photography first few cave explorations. You need to be a caver good first before it can become a photographer cave.
